golfers are transported by tender to the dock in Belize. After a brief transfer
to the local airport, you depart via Maya Island Airlines for your brief and scenic
10-minute flight to the beautiful Island of Caye Chapel located just twelve
miles off the coast of Belize. Caye (pronounced key) Chapel Golf Resort offers
a picturesque setting with extraordinary views of the Caribbean Sea and barrier
reef. The unpredictable trade winds come into play from every tee resulting in
an island adventure to test your abilities, patience and perseverance. Challenges
abound with four par 5 holes, averaging distances of 560 yards from the tips,
a multitude of cat tailed lined lakes, native birds and those tricky trade winds.
This spectacularly scenic 18-hole championship golf course boasts over 7,000 yards
of scenic views and impeccably manicured links and has received international
acclaim for it's quality design and caliber of play. There is a 4 person minimum

for Americans working in the Panama Canal Zone. The course has been completely
renovated to world-class standards. The winning combination of a superior design
effort by Jeffrey Myers and the ultimate in construction of Gregori International
has created a championship course of the highest caliber. Although it is a fairly
long drive at approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, the golf course is in
wonderful condition with a nice driving range, complimentary range balls and a
cozy clubhouse. Where else can you take a trip from the Atlantic to Pacific Panama
with glimpses of the canal and amazing tropical rain forest along the way?
