More Opportunities to Get Teed-Off on Carnival

A while back we told you about Carnival launching a new golf program that included options for passengers to play at the some of the world's top golf courses while on their Carnival cruise. Now Carnival has expanded the program both through agreements with additional courses and because they are sailing to new ports in new parts of the world.

Among the new courses being offered are in Bermuda (Port Royal and Southampton Princess), Belize (Caya Chapel), Denmark (Fano, the oldest in the country) and Finland (Espoo Ringside). All these are new ports of call for the Fun Ships (or soon to be inaugurated).

Also added is the Cozumel Country Club (Cozumel's only championship-caliber course), the White Witch (in Montego Bay), the Sunrise Family Golf Center (Grand Cayman) and the El Conquistador Resort & Country Club (San Juan).

All the golf packages include priority tee times, transportation between the ship and the course, golf pro escort, cart and green fees. Golfers can also rent all the necessary equipment, if they haven't brought their own.

Aboard ship, Carnival provides lighted and covered "practice ranges." Golf clinics and putting contests are held throughout the voyage as well. Shipboard lessons are complemented by state-of-the-art V1 teaching computers, which provide split-screen, side-by-side comparisons with top tour players and sophisticated video analysis.
