Mahogany Run Golf Resort Located on Estate Lovelund in northern St. Thomas, this is the US Virgins Islands premiere golfing destination. Designed by Tom and George Fazio, Mahogany Run Golf Course offers challenging holes - including the 3 holes of the spectacular cliff-hugging Devil's Triangle - and a breathtaking view of the British Virgin Islands to the east. Recent renovations at Mahogany Run Golf Course improved grass conditions and expanded greens, improving the course's status within golfing circles. The 18-hole course should provide a challenge for the avid golfer, but frequent informal tournaments and a laid back atmosphere make it a fun day outing for anyone. Mahogany Run Golf Course has a pro shop and snack bar onsite, as well as an outdoor clubhouse where golfers can relax in the island breeze. Barbados Golf Club The Barbados Golf Club has become the soul of Barbados golf with its friendly atmosphere and charming terraced clubhouse, which opens on to an expansive and unique triple green. Re-designed by notable architect Ron Kirby and re-opened in 2000, the Barbados Golf Club is the island's first public 18-hole championship golf course. This links-style golf course features gently rolling hills, wide open fairways and a series of coral waste bunkers which and character to several holes. A large central lake adds intrigue on 3 holes and mature 'mile' trees bend and beckon in the cooling coastal breezes. The greens are superb, the welcome is truly Barbadian and there are great deals on Carib Beer for those intent on having a day of fun! This is an ideal outing for golfers of all abilities. St. Lucia Golf and Country Club
This course is located just a few minutes drive away from St.John's, Antigua's lively capital. It is the oldest Golf Course on the island of Antigua and Barbuda which at one time hosted the British ProAm with Pros such as David Russell, Brian Hutchinson and Malcolm Gregson just to name a few. Cedar Valley Golf Club has been host to the Eastern Caribbean Golf Championship. Additionally the annual Antigua Open is played on it, which takes place in October and draws the Caribbean top professional golfers. Cedar Valley fairways are composed of the native grass, Antigen Hay. The front nine holes are a bit rocky and rough on the edges, with some frustrating uphill tee shots. The first few greens are particularly tight and narrow; many golfers find this a good place to take a mulligan or two! Golf clubs and carts are available for rental and professional lessons can be arranged.
The Royal St. Kitts Golf Club This recently remodeled Championship Golf Course provides breathtaking views of land and sea, as well as picturesque holes playing alongside the black sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and stretching to the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea . With Marriott Golf Management at the helm and incredible course conditions - guests are ensured great customer service and one of the most scenic course in the Caribbean. It is a “Links” Style golf course with five-Par 3's with three full holes on the Atlantic Ocean and two full holes on the Caribbean Sea . The golf course covers 125 acres of irrigated lush grass with a moderate number of sand bunkers, 12 beautiful lakes, wide fairways and large putting greens. It is a fair yet challenging test of golf. |
