Carnival Legend 2002 ScheduleCARNIVAL LEGEND'S INAUGURAL 2002 SEASON TO INCLUDE BERMUDA, CANADA AND CARIBBEAN SAILINGS! MIAMI (11/26/01) – For the inaugural 2002 season of the new 2,124-passenger Carnival Legend, Carnival Cruise Lines has assembled a diverse schedule encompassing two to eleven day voyages from several U.S. homeports, including departures from Philadelphia and Baltimore. These voyages follow the Carnival Legend's previously announced 12-day Northern Europe and 15-day transatlantic voyages in summer 2002 – the line's first “Fun Ship” sailings from Europe. The Carnival Legend's inaugural U.S. cruise schedule includes:
Cruises-to-Nowhere, Canada/New England “Fall Foliage” Voyages from New York Six-Day Bermuda Cruises from Philadelphia and Baltimore Carnival Legend's inaugural schedule will also include two six-day Bermuda cruises in October 2002 – one departing Philadelphia Oct. 23 and another departing Baltimore Oct. 30. Both voyages will dock at Bermuda's King's Wharf. Prices for the six-day Bermuda sailings begin at $699 per person. Two-Day Cruise-to-Nowhere, Eight-Day Exotic Program from Miami From Miami, Carnival Legend will operate
a two-day cruise-to-nowhere Nov. 8 then launch year-round eight-day “exotic” southern
and western Caribbean cruises Nov. 10, 2002, featuring ports typically available
only on 10-day or longer voyages. Eight-day southern Caribbean cruises will visit
St. Maarten, Barbados and Martinique, while eight-day western Caribbean voyages
include stops at Belize City, Belize; Limon, Costa Rica; and Colon, Panama.
