a new series of "Fun Ships," the 952-foot-long Carnival Conquest will feature
four restaurants, a 15,000-square-foot health and fitness facility, the comprehensive
CarnivalGolf.com onboard Golf Academy and excursion program, a jogging
track, a "boulevard" of shops and boutiques, an Internet café, and 22 bars and
lounges with dramatic interiors inspired by famous Impressionist painters, appropriate
for a ship based in New Orleans, a city possessing a rich European heritage.

FORT LAUDERDALE-- The 2,976-passenger Carnival Conquest will become the
largest cruise ship ever homeported in New Orleans when it begins year-round seven-day
sailings from that port Dec. 1, 2002. Carnival Conquest will depart New Orleans
every Sunday on week-long voyages to Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Playa del Carmen/Cozumel.
